Pump a small amount of foundation onto the back of your hand, and then dab some onto a sponge. Using a padding motion called stippling, apply foundation to your entire face down to your jawline one section at a time. Apply foundation to the eyelid as well; this  will help eye shadow bond to the lid and blend better.
